Speech and Language Therapist

As a Speech and Language Therapist with the London Borough of Redbridge Council, working 37 hours a week on a three-month contract, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing and supporting individuals with speech, language and communication needs. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will provide tailored interventions, guidance and strategies to help clients achieve their communication goals and improve their quality of life.

• Carry out comprehensive assessments of speech, language and communication abilities across diverse age groups.

• Develop and deliver personalised therapy programmes in line with client needs and evidence-based practice.

• Work in partnership with families, carers, teachers and health professionals to support intervention plans.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with council and professional standards.

• Provide training, advice and resources to support communication development in various settings.

• Contribute to service development initiatives and the ongoing improvement of therapy outcomes across the borough.
