Study materials will be provided with first day instructions, so please make sure travelers are up to date on proper sterile techniques.- Unit: CV Tele D2 & C4- # beds :32 bed- Certs: BLS, ACLS- Ratios: 1:3-4- Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role.- Techs: PCTs – 1 per every 16 patients.- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.- Scrub Color: Navy- Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.- Vents: No- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night.- IV Team: No- RT 24/7: Yes – Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7.- Floating: To similar or lower acuity.- Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele. Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine to titrate down ONLY. No pediatrics, 15 y/o and older.
