RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using age specific criteria. Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries Submission requirements: 2+ Years of Experience -RequiredChest tube and other drain management Experience -RequiredPost-operative open heart care experience-RequiredPre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access -RequiredProficiency in cardiac monitoring, including: reading and interpreting cardiac rhythym strips, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms-RequiredAdvanced knowledge of cardiac andpulmonary abnormalitiesExperience with the following procedures and equipment (assisting with chest tube removal, assisting with removal of pericardial pacing wires, management of temporary pacers, including pericardial and transcutaneous devices, use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems -RequiredCritical Care Experience- Highly PreferredBLS ACLS (AHA) -RequiredMust float to all units within skill level-RequiredProfile Requirements:Work historySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty Rate:83 OnCall:No Call WeekendDescription:Every Other Weekend Certifications:ACLS (AHA),BLS (AHA) StateLicenses:Ohio
