If recommended, the hiring manager has 24-hours to accept/decline this candidate. They will not call for a 2nd phone interviewDepartment: Med Tele RN- # Beds: 31- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5-6- Required Certifications: BLS- Common diagnosis: CHF, strokes, chest pain, Dm, PN, COPD, detox, underlying cardiac conditions. Cath lab recoveries.- Experience: Radial band and femoral cath recoveries.- Are RN’s required to titrate drips: No- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Lasix, heparin, bumex, protonix, octreotide. – Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: RNs read tele. They do have a centralized tele tech that helps monitor.- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Team Lead during the day- does not take patients. Charge on nights/weekends/holidays. Charge takes patients. – Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes. 1:10-12.- RT/Equipment: Cpap/bipap intermittent only. – Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hours 5-5 TL does schedule. Try to accommodate if it works for staffing.
