CURRENT REQUIREMENT AS OF 11/24/25Candidates must have experience in a hospital of similar size and acuityCandidate must have a minimum of 2 years Med/Tele experience and successful completion of at least 1 travel contract.Unit Candler 2N- # Beds: 23- Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:4 or sometimes 1:5- Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?): BLS, ACLS- Common diagnoses/Types of patientss/p Regional admission unit for med/tele patients- Experience or ‘Must have’ skills:- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Limited (Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone)- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes – Charge RN at night does not usually take a patient assignment. Yes House Supervisor at night- Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: Yes 1:10- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Nasal cannuals, BiPap, High Flow NC. No vents.- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: Yes there are Monitor Techs on the unit. No the Monitor Tech reads the strips. However, the RNs are expected to be able to interpret rhythms- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling?
