Cerner experience recommended as there is only one day of orientationAre RN’s required to titrate drips NoCommon titratable &/or set rate drips Diltiazem at a set rateTele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Do RN’s read strips? Tele is monitored remotely, tele techs are on the 3rd floor. Monitor techs read and post strips. RN s are required to interpret strips and sign at least once a shift.Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Both. charge does not take a patient assignmentAre there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios Yes 1:10-15RT/Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) Bipap, Cpap, high flow, and some breathing treatments.Shifts & Scheduling Shifts are 12 hours 7-730 with a 30 min unpaid lunch. Schedules are made out for 4 weeks.
