Our currently PCU is neuro focused and takes 4:1, when floating to other med surg level areas they would be at 5:1 or 6:1. (Y/N) y Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Neuro focus PCU unit when working in this unit, nurses will be at a 4:1 nurse/patient ratio. Contract labor nurses could be asked to float to med surg areas within the floor and/or hospital which is at a 5/6:1 ratio. NCPU unit has a charge nurse that is shared with the main neuro unit.
