The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.Northwest Medical CenterStart: ASAPDuration: 13 WeeksShift: Days 7a – 7:30p (3/12’s)6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule$70 Bill RateMust be willing to FloatMust Start within 2 Wks. of Offer Acceptance2+ Years Experience RequiredAZ License, ACLS & BLS are RequiredScrub Color: AnyEMR: CernerThis unit is a step down (in acuity) from ICU so they should be able to handle cardiac drips, be familiar with TAVRs and watchmen mitro clips at a minimum Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires an associate’s degree and is certified as a registered nurse Prefer Bachelors degree in Nursing.
