Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptorPatient Diagnoses: Solid Tumor Orthopedic Oncology Thoracic OncologySpecial Procedures/Unit Details: 18J is a 36 bed Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU level of care. -Pediatric patients are cared for on this unit but are extremely rare and would likely be cared for by perm staff. Pediatric experience is NOT required to be agency RN here. Required: High acuity PCU patient experience-Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient fallsSpecial Equipment: B450 monitors GE telemetry system. Bladder Scanner. Alaris pumps. Stryker beds.
