Frequency of floating: nights, at least once a week. Days, less than that.On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/AWeekends/Holidays: every other weekend/holidayRequired Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: IN Single State RN License, AHA BLS & ACLS, NIHSSMinimum Experience: 2 year of experience in specialty NO NEW TRAVELERS – 1 completed travel assignment requiredCharting Experience Required: EPIC. CUPID experience is highly preferred.Required Skillset: Start IV s, radial artery sheath removal, TR bands, arterial line management, manage/titrate cardiac drips, cardioversions, Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS)Hard stops: Tele interpretation & 12-lead EKG (perform & interpret), PIV Insertion, TR Band management, Pre/Post Heart Cath (Pre: Vitals, heart rate and rhythm, IV, neuro status, ambulate… Post: Heart rate and rhythm, sites, vitals, neuro), Initiate/titrate Cardiac drips (cardizem, amio, nitro, cardene), Initiate & titrate Heparin, Oral Cardiac Meds (betapace/sotalol, B-blockers, digoxin, etc), Monitor trending troponins. Patient Population: Admissions/Cardiac procedure recovery, Pre/Post Cath Lab/EP Lab procedures, PACU recovery, cardiac surgery admissions, TAVR/LAAO recoveries, antiarrhythmics, Cardiac observation patients, bedside experienceUnit Information: 31 beds. Pre/Post procedure Cath Lab, Surgery admissions, Observation patients3:1 patient ratio (Day Shift)4-5:1 patient ratio (Night Shift)Scrub Colors: Red scrub top, black scrub bottoms – No competing health systems or agency logos* 3 call-ins can result in termination **** Teaching hospital, may require precepting of students & new-hires ***Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required — Subject to changeGSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.
