Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. Epic experience required preferred within the last 12 months. Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. BLS is required must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY ACLS is required – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLYTelemetry Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.The Preoperative and postoperative patient area has 23 rooms. Nurses are responsible for prepping patients that are inpatient and outpatient status for surgery. Outpatients will return for Phase II recovery to receive further pain management, recovery from anesthesia and discharge teaching before going home. Nurses are responsible for assessing, diagnosing, intervening, evaluating, coordinating, and facilitating care necessary in the immediate post anesthetic period for surgical patients. Minimum Requirements:Facility Requirement: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating – Travelers are the first to float. Depending on the current staffing needs, the traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or at different locations within the organization.
