RN Pediatrics

RN needed with strong pediatric skill set.
Will cover 3 med surg units:
Medical, Surgical, and immunocompromised.
All units are central monitored pulse ox & remote tele.
Patient ages range from newborn to young adult.
Patients undergo surgical or medical mgmt. of their diagnoses, congenital condition or traumatic injuries.
Medical services include:
General service, gastro, nephrology, neuro, endocrine, ENT, Neurosurgery, ortho, oral & maxillofacial, ped burn/surgery/trauma,
– plastics, transplant, urology, congenital cardiology, and CT surgery, hematological, oncological, immune, malignant, metabolic, and
– genetic disorders.
Patients may present with a variety of underlying medical conditions, such as seizures, cognitive disorders, delayed growth, &
development.
Common medical procedures and therapies performed on the unit include intravenous fluid therapy, oxygen therapy, High Flow
– nasal cannula, continuous nebulizer treatments,
EKG monitoring, lumbar puncture, peripherally-inserted central catheters, blood administration, and patient controlled analgesia.
Day Shift.
Patient ratios 3:1 to 5:1 depending on acuity.
NM Interviews.
EPIC. Orientation dates are Monday, July 11, July 18 and August 1.
Please do not submit for other dates.
Facial hair must follow respirator guidelines.
