An example of a three patient assignment is respiratory patients such as HHF or a combination of 3 less acute patients. You will not care for 3 ventilated patients. New trauma patients are 1:1; when less critical will transition to 1:2. We are a combined Pediatric and PICU unit. We have 20 pediatric beds and 8 PICU beds and share a CN.
