Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes primary charge RN each shift. House supervisor 24/7.- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: PCT’s 1:7-8.- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow, etc.): Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?: We have CPAP, heated high flow as needed.- Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: We have house wide telemetry pack monitors.
