Specialty: Surgery. Number of Openings: 1. Shift: Day 0630-1500 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekend Hours: Depends on number of callback cases. Call Requirements: 1-2 weekends per month, 1-2 weekdays per week. Required Certifications: BLS required. ACLS preferred. Years of Experience: At least 2 years OR circulator experience. Float Requirements: N/A. Additional Notes: N/A.Unit Information: Number of Beds: 5 Operating Rooms. Patient Ratios: one at a time. Equipment: Bovie, laparoscopic towers, Hana table, Urology table, Laser litho, Harmonic scalpel, stirrups. EHR: Meditech Magic. Supervisor: Rhonda Sample, Director of Surgical Services. Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc. : Mostly adult and geriatric with some pediatrics (tonsils and dental restorations).Hiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: General, Ortho, C-sections and other GYN surgery, ENT, Pediatric dental, Urology. Preferred Skillset/Experience: Vascular cases (Fem-pop, AV fistula). We do not have DaVinci robot. Common Diagnosis/Treatment: All diagnoses related to above cases. Personality Fit: Must be a team player and work well with all others. Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing.Dress Code: Scrub Color: Green, provided.
