Description: Specialty: Surgical ServicesFacility: St Lukes Wood River Medical CenterState License: IDCerts/Licenses: Years of Experience: 3 year(s)Shift: 8H Days days 5x8Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekDescription: Unit Notes:Department: OR | RNMUST RECEIVE WRITTEN NOTICE FROM CLIICIAN THAT HOUSING HAS BEEN RESEARCHED, APPROVE OF PAY PACKAGE, COMMITTED AND UNDERSTAND ASSIGNMENT, AND WILL SIGN OFFER WITHIN 24 HOURSFaster paceresort town, robust services, very heavy/dominant in ortho and a lot of sports medicine and robotics, must have endo experience or c sectionUnit: Surgical Services OR RN – Flr 2- # Suites: 4 Plus 1 Endoscopy Suite- Average # of cases per day: 8 average/ day- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS recommended- Common Cases: Ortho- total joints, sports med, hands and trauma, General, Gyn, C-sections, Endoscopy.- Experience or ‘Must have’ skills: Minimum of 3 years OR experience and a strong Ortho background. Some endo experience needed. Must have previous travel experience.- Scrubbing required – RN’s: No- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: We have both, Charge and ANM for OR. – OR techs: We have CST’s and RN’s who scrub. And orderlies to help turnover rooms. All OR personnel are required to help clean and turnover OR’s along with our orderly team.- EMR: Epic. We also use TDOC to track instruments and our providers use ProVation for Endoscopy.- Shifts & Scheduling: Mon- Friday 8 hour shifts. Typically 700-1530. May adjust as needed.Weeknight/Call Requirements: Call starts at 1530 until 0700 next morning. Typically, 4 weeknights per month. Will increase if staffing decreases.- Weekend/Call Requirements: Typically 1 full weekend per month. 0700 Sat-0700 Monday.- Holiday/Call Requirements: If there is a holiday during the contract you may be assigned holiday call.- What is call response time: You must be always within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call.- What is call response time: You must be always within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call.- Floating Requirements: The OR team covers endoscopy. CST’s are required to have some SPD and HLD experience.- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Blue- scrubs provided per surgical services attire policy. OR shoes.- Unit/Department specific orientation: We pair travelers with a preceptor for unit specific orientation.
