Call response time is 30 minutes.In House on Call: In the event a full-time team member calls out sick or is on PTO, the traveler may be asked to provide in-house on-call coverage. While this is infrequent, the traveler must be prepared to stay overnight at the hospital if requested. They will receive regular hourly pay while on-site or resting and will be eligible for call-back pay if called in to assist with a procedure.Weekends: Rotate every other weekend as neededHolidays: as needed; can include in house coverage on any shift; or 24 hr beeper call. Required Certifications: AHA BLS, Unencumbered WI or Compact RN licenseMinimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years OR experience required, PEDS experience is REQUIREDCharting/Equipment: System is EPIC. Unit Specific Skillset: o 14 OR s and 3 Special Procedure rooms (GI, oncology, dental). This is a circulating position.o ENT, ortho, urology, gen. surg, craniofacial/plastics, neuro, eyes. We do cardiac but they wouldn t be expected to do cardiacHard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, social candidates. Scrub Colors: any color just not all blackJewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn.**Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS**Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week. REQUIRED EDUCATION:Associate Degree or Certificate PREFERRED EDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS:As needed; can include in house coverage on any shift; or 24 hr beeper call.
