Manager will reach out directly to interview prior to offering** *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.*All clinicians must badge in and out at facilityScrubs: Navy BlueCannot take any travelers living within a 60 mile radius of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.**MUST Haves: 2 years recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting, 250+ bedsExperience in a busy level 1 trauma centerActive BLS – must be AHAActive ND or Compact RN License or willing to getEPIC experience Willing to float to all med surg units/locations within Fargo as neededTravel experience – highly preferredGeneral job duties. Types of procedures required. Nurses care for medically complex hematology/oncology patients, needing blood products, antibiotics and symptom/side effect management. Nurses perform head to toe assessments, administer meds, communicate with IDT team and update patient and family. If trained to administer chemotherapy, could be assigned accordingly.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. EPIC, Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, language line, zebra phone Required skills and minimum years of experience.2 years of nursing experience in a large hospital setting. Travel experience preferred. Would prefer inpatient oncology experience, hematology and bone marrow transplant would be a bonus.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS-must be AHA, ND or compact state licenseShift or schedule requirements.D/N rotating, every other weekend, every other holiday, 12 hour shifts. Will not work alone, no call required. Floating to over units/departments.Yes, other med-surg units at Broadway with potential of floating to other Fargo Med Surg units at Med Center or South.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.6S-16 inpatient oncology beds & 7S- 12 inpatient oncology beds focused more on hematology/bone marrow transplant (in process of remodeling 12 more beds on 7S)Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 1:3 for patients receiving chemotherapy or BMT patients and 1:4-5 for regular oncology patients, 1:4-6 on nights.Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.8 hours of classroom training followed by 24-36 hours of unit trainingDress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs Cancellation Policy:Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes, willing to wait Trauma Level:1 Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:12 h day/night rotate with every other weekend Required Certifications:BLS (AHA)
