This RN should have EPIC experience, oncology and peds oncology. Expectations for this role are managing the radiation cases with the team, port accessing on peds cases strongly preferred as well, Stage 2 recovery for peds anesthesia, directing flow in clinic area.Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development.Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Permanent employees (across BJC and/or Saint Lukes) must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler. Floating: All travelers will float within service line. Booking Rules: BJC does not permit contractors to sign a contract and subsequently cancel it in order to accept another BJC assignment.
