First to float if over staffedWeekend Requirement: Availability every other weekendOn Call Requirement: NoneUnit Specialty: Medical Oncology, Hematology & Bone Marrow TransplantNurse Patient Ratio by shift: based upon acuity; 1:2 (BMT) 1:3 (Chemo), max of 1:4 Total Unit Beds/Suites/Deliveries: 48 beds, with cardiac and respiratory monitoring available in-room and centralized monitoring.Teaching Facility: YesTeaching Hospital Experience: Strongly preferredTrauma Level: Level IPrior Travel Experience: REQUIRED Licensure/Certification: RNPreferred Required Job Qualifications: Pediatric hematology/oncology/bone marrow transplant experience required in all three specialtiesPreferred Qualifications: CPHON Certification, APHON Chemo/Bio certification BMT CertificationMinimum Clinical Experience: 2 years as a Pediatric RNSpecialty Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Hematology, Oncology, and/or BMT; Must have experience with ports and central line access/careCertifications Required: BLS (AHA and ARC) and Chemo Certification (APHON),BMT CertificationComments: Requirement to work at least 1 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.Float Required: YesCertifications: Chemo Cert – APHON,BLS,PALS; Guaranteed Hours:36
