They may float to Cardiology to take lower acuity patients or Med/Surg. May also float to Pediatrics to take adult patients only. Additional Notes: We are looking for travelers who are willing to be a part of a great team. They must follow and abide by all policies and guidelines while at SJRMC (same as the staff). Unit Information: Number of Beds: 24 Patient Ratios: 1:6 max will see turnaround (admits and discharges) throughout the shift Equipment: IV pumps, VS monitors EHR: Cerner Supervisor: Diana Cross, Surgical Unit Patient Care Manager Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc. : Adults ranging in age from 18-100+Hiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: post operative patient care which includes ortho/neurosurgical/abdominal surgeries, NG tubes, chest tubes, foley catheter / turps, respiratory issues, diabetic patient care, sepsis, alcohol withdrawal, rib fractures, altered mental status, pain management Preferred Skillset/Experience: see above great customer service/patient experience skills Common Diagnosis/Treatment: mixture of med/surg patients will be seen on the Surgical Unit.
