Weekend/Holiday: every other weekend, and holidayFloat Requirements: : To all inpatient units; would be given appropriate patient assignments . On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hoursRequired Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: WI RN License and BLS. Minimum Experience: 2+ years Med Surg experience. Must have recent hospital experience. Trauma level II experience required. Prior travel experience REQUIRED. Charting Experience: Epic REQUIRED. Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumpsUnit Specific Skillset: Post Surgical Care Unit post recovery after Pacu. 40 bed inpatient area that provides care along a continuum for pre and post-surgical adults and geriatric patients. Unit Overview (Patient ratio, etc.): Nurse to pt ratio: day/pm 1:4 or 5, nights 1:5- 7 Fast paced post-surgical unit that averages 10-15 admissions per day with the highest occurring on Day/PM. Occupancy of unit is90-95 % during the week with average length of stay 2 3 days (except joints). RN must have ability to multi task and prioritize patient care needs based on acuity and work as a team.Scrub color: any colorContract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hourstravelers can be put on call during the 36 hours of unbillable low census. If called back in, they will have call back pay.GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.***Regular Guaranteed Hours / Low Census: Each Supplier Employee is guaranteed a minimum of regular worked hours per week indicated in the Work Order. Regular hours shall be billed according to the agreed upon Work Order. Client has the ability to cancel up to 36 hours (in one hour increments) per thirteen (13) week contract or thirteen (13) week extension for low census. Low census hours are to be communicated at least one (1) hour in advance and are non-billable from the regular guaranteed hours. This will effect only new assignments and extensions with start dates of August 3rd, 2025 or later.During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times. This is an Aspirus policy, and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action.
