A facility in Rome, NY is looking for an MS/Telemetry (MS/Tele) nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) and New York State (NYS) license required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Must have a minimum of 2 years of current experience. Travel experience preferred. Floating to MS is required. Must have strong IV skills, confident working with cardiac drips, reading EKG strips, and all types of wound care. **This is a PER DIEM CONTRACT. Unit looking for mostly NIGHT coverage but flex to days is very helpful. NIH Stroke Cert required before start. Additional 8 hours of CEUs will need to be completed as part of facility orientation. *Caregiver must pick up a minimum of 2 shifts/month. Requirements: At least two years of recent experience in the field, current BLS certification, and a current nursing license per the state of assignment.
