Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved application for medical or religious exception will be required prior to contract start date. Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes. tube feeding, NG/G-Tubes, Trach Care, PICC/PORT Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2-10 years experience Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BLS, ACLS is not required for our unit, unless it is an agency requirement Floating to other units/departments: May float to Med Surg and Surgical Peds Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: TCU 32 bed Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1:8 nurse with 1:6 Aides during the Day and 1:8 during the Night Dress Code: Professional nursing attire Department specific training and orientation program: Orientation time provided for each unit. Additional Information:Must arrive the Thursday before start in order to go to employee health appointment on Friday. Please do not accept the start date offered if they cannot be there on time.
