This unit does have 2 negative pressure rooms that can serve our COVID population. This is a very busy unit where rehabilitating and supporting our patients needs is our highest priority. The most common diagnosis on the unit; Traumas including: spinal cord injuries(new quadriplegics and paraplegics), traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic injuries occurring as a result of a trauma. Acute Care Surgical diagnosis: hernia repair, small bowel obstructions, appendectomy, cholecystectomy. Travelers need to have experience on a fast pace medical surgical unit preferably with Level I Trauma center experience but serval years at a Level II Trauma center is acceptable. LNA ratios to patients 1:12RN Patient ratios: days: 1:4 nights 1:5 Must have a minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experienceRequired Experience:Chest tubesTubesDrips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodaroneLines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patientsTrachs/LaryngectomiesTelemetryComplex woundsCentral Lines- care and maintenance and blood drawsRequired Credentials:NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required)BLS
