IT S PASS OR FAIL AND THEY GET 2 ATTEMPTS (TEST A SHOULD BE ASSIGNED FIRST, TEST B SHOULD BE ASSIGNED FOR THE RETAKE). A SCREENSHOT SHOWING THE NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS IS REQUIRED. **We can accept a Dys exam within the last 12mo if the traveler has previously taken** If your traveler fails the 2nd attempt, they will be made DNU for CommonSpirit AZ and SacUnitRICU possible float to CSICU (Cardiac skill preferred, but if not held will only operate within scope) # Beds11 MICUNurse:Patient Ratios1:1-2Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?)BLS, ACLSCommon diagnoses/Types of patientsARDS, Sepsis, Chronic vent, ETOH withdrawal, DKA, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, IABP. Line placements and intubations are common.Experience or ‘Must have’ skillsCRRT experience preferred (Next Stage). Per email from Suzanne, Doesn’t need extensive CVICU experience, however, unit prefers to have someone with cardiac skill. Phillips monitors.Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)12 hr shifts. Shift 645-1915 or 1845-0715. Report is at the bedside. OT and extra shifts are available. Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it. Schedules are out 4 weeks. Travelers can access their schedules from home and make themselves “available” for extra shifts and make trades with other staff.
