PAY OT after 8 hours/day. (RC = 24 reg hours, 12 OT hours) BILL OT after 40 hours/week. (RC = same rate in OT as in reg) FLAT RATE FOR ALL OT (RC=SAME RATE IN OT AS IN REG)- Unit: ICU – # beds: 22 beds, avg daily census is about 8 – Certs: BLS, ACLS- Ratios: 2:1- EMR: Cerner Power Chart- Charge Nurse: Yes – they do not take a pt assignment – only in emergencies – Nurse Aides: None- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend- Holidays: Yes – work them in with perm staff rotation- Scrub Color: Navy – Tele/Monitor Techs: GE moniters – no monitor tech, monitor are in patient rooms, nurses must read and interpret strips- Drips : Amio, cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, heparin, cardiac drips and hypertensive drips, propofol- Vents: Yes – they use Hamilton G5, Puritan Benette 840 – Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes – they are 24/7 -IV Team: No – RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: No – staffed from 7am- midnight, omnicell for after hours – Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 0700-1930, 1900-0730, self scheduling but not guaranteed – Floating: Will float to tele (4 to 1) – Floor specific orientation: They will get 1-2 shifts of orientation on unit – Common diagnosis / Types of patients: sepsis, chest pain, GI bleeds, TIA’s, strokes, No CRRT, general medical surgical ICU nurses needed – Additional Notes: 2 years of experience required, travel experience is preferred, must be detail-oriented, unit is traveler friendly, they will float to tele frequently since census on unit remains low usually, if they want to float to ED they will allow that – they will let them take a patient assignment if desired but it is not required Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:12 hr Nights, EOW, First to Float Required Certifications:ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine Required
