Description: Specialty: ICUFacility: Sullivan County Community HospitalState License: INCerts/Licenses: Years of Experience: 1 year(s)Shift: 12H Nights 3 12 hour shiftsGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekDescription: Unit Notes:UnitICU – Acuity care unit (1 floor all units)- # of beds: 22 total (17MS/Tele, 3 LDRP, 2 ICU)- Ratios: 1:1-2 both shifts- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS- preferred- Common diagnoses/Types of patientsDKA, Sepsis, COPD, CHF, PN, abd pain, minor surgical, SBO, covid- Experience or ‘Must have’ skills: 2 year within specialty required, travel preferred- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: All common drips- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Manager available M-F, House Supervisor available on nights and weekends.- Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: Yes – 2 on days, 1 on nights – RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Vents, Cpap and BiPap- Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?Nurses must be able to read and interpret strips- Shifts & Scheduling: Shifts 7-7, Self-scheduling is used but is not finalized until Manager balances it.
