Accredited by The Joint Commission, the hospital is conveniently located off I-64 in Central Kentucky approximately 50 miles from Louisville and 30 miles from Lexington. Certifications: Active nursing license in good standing (with compact if indicated), BLS required, ACLS required, current NIH (must be certified annually) Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: CPap and BiPap management, Port access, therapeutic phlebotom Must have: 2 years ICU Experience Advanced skills needed: preferred experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, drains, post-dialysis assessment, central lines, blood transfusion, ventilators Procedures performed on unit: telemetry monitoring, paracentesis (physician led), BiPap, therapeutic phlebotomy Certifications Required: Active nursing license in good standing (with compact if indicated), BLS required, ACLS required, current NIH (must be certified annually) Dress Code: (Required uniform) Navy or gray scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. The unit is fully supported with a director and Manger, as well as a clinical educator. We have excellent interdisciplinary communication and collaboration with all providers.
