Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.**- # Beds: 16- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1 higher acuity pts- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Respiratory, Stroke, neuro, GI, cardiac, etc. – Experience or ‘Must have’ skills: 2 years ICU experience + 1 year travel experience.- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes, many.- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: All ICU drips, propofol, precedex, vaspopressors, etc.- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: No.- Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: 1 for the unit to support nursing staff.- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Two pulmonologists for attendings, each with a team of residents during the day. One team on at night.- RT in ICU 24/7: Yes.- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Any and all including Vents, BiPAP/CPAP, vapotherm, trachs, nitric.- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? Yes. Each RN reads their patient’s strips and must be proficient in rhythm interpretation.- Shifts & Scheduling: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730. We allow self schedule, but they are last to put their hours in. Cannot guarantee block scheduling.- Weekend Requirements: Either every other, or every third based on schedule needs).- Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday (or more if willing/able).- Is there a call or standby requirement?: No.- Floating Requirements: Agency are first to float to like units or as a patient observer within hospital.- Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific color required, clean and professional.- Unit/Department specific orientation: One day hospital orientation. Two days unit orientation.*MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield.
