Currently less than 40 residents (10/4/2023)Minimum Experience: 1 year; Does not have to have LTC experience, but emphasize that it is LTC facilityWill accept a first-time travelerPatient Types Travelers are Expected to Care for:Convalescent long-term care, Post stroke with long term deficiencies, CHF, Hospice, Respite care, IDDMNo vents/trachs currentlyMedication pass on nights is minimal. Most residents do not take meds after 22:00.One blood sugar check for diabetic patients, currently scheduled for the morningMost residents are NOT full codes. There are protocols in place to follow if a code situation should arise. All CNAs are trained to participate in CPR. Being attached to the hospital, nurses from that facility can respond quickly if an emergency does arise.RN/LPN: 1:20-25 Days 2 nurses (RNs or RNLPN)1 nurse at night- 2 nurses during the day, practice is the same for LPN as RNCNA: 1:10-12 Days3 CNA at nightBLS-MUSTbe through AHALPN: Current Montana LPN license required.Experience with the above patient typesPhlebotomy does blood draws.
