OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned – they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * ***Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contractCertifications required: BLS, NRPRatios: 1:3 mom babe couplets, 1:1 labors for the most part depending on the caseYears of Exp required: no years in particular, just able to do labors, deliveries, and postpartum, would be amazing if had NICU experience too. Blocked scheduling approved Y/N: we would love to have someone who is flexible.Common Diagnoses/types of patients: Level 1 maternal care. Low risk births, have the occasional mag and GDM patients. Common drips: insulin, mag, pitocin IV Pumps: we use Alaris pumps Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: we have charge nurses on each shift. They do take an assignment. Weekend Requirements: every 3rd Floating requirements: we are a closed unit, floating is not required. Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:12 hr nights Required Certifications:BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
