Performs hemodynamic and neurovascular assessments, monitors surgical sites for bleeding or infection, and evaluates graft function. Monitors labs, urine output, fluids, and electrolytes. Administers pain control, immunosuppressants, anticoagulation, and IV therapies. CPI Certificate Most units will require the CPI certification as part of compliance. The Calm Every Storm online version is currently the only acceptable online vendor. BLS/ACLS/PALS AHA only NRP NRP or AAP only Travelers are required to go in for their labs within 72 hours of signing their contract. RTO must be included at time of initial submission, RTO cannot be changed or added once offered same for extensions, once requested it cannot be altered. RTO – should not exceed 7 days and if more than 4 consecutive days, an additional week will be added on to the back end of the contract for new contracts. Most locations and units will allow for one major holiday off during the winter season, but please refer to the individual job posting for more specifics per job/unit. Auto Offers If an auto offer is turned on for a unit/job the candidate must accept without an interview. We cannot go back and ask to interview after an auto offer is made. Scheduling Restrictions Block schedule or schedule restrictions cannot be requested. Unit will try their best to accommodate but cannot be guaranteed and cannot be requested, however if approved it will not be included in writing in the offer. Candidates will float within hospital travelers are first to float, Candidates must be comfortable floating with no restrictions or special requests as long as it within their experience scope Return Traveler Policy: Note if return traveler so we can run through staffing contact, candidate must be away for at least 6 months from the system Return Staff Policy: Note if the traveler was formerly staff at the UMMS health system as well will check their eligibility to return. All former staff much be gone for 12 months before they can return as a traveler.
