Holidays and weekends required. 50 Mile Radius Rule – NO LOCALS. Travel Rate: $85.00 before admin fees. Local Rate: $73.00 before admin fees. Must be open to floating. Flexibility is key for position!!! ***Please let all travelers know that unplanned time off (UTO) will result in us canceling their contracts moving forward. As they are not making up the shifts to meet their contract obligations. *** No block scheduling. THIS is one of the HIGHEST volume Emergency Departments in the country! Traveler friendly culture and a fabulous resume credit at this highly rated academic center. Every candidate must have at least 3 years of experience as an ER RN and the last 12 months must include 1 or more assignments at preferably an academic medical institution, but at least at a Level 1 or 2 trauma facility in a major metropolitan area. REQUIREMENTS: Must have recent experience working in at least a level 1 or 2 trauma facility. BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), and TNCC required at time of submission. Must have recent EPIC experience listed in submission packet to qualify. FL or compact RN license included in candidate’s file at time of submission. No work history with gaps over 30 days w/o explanation. Must have Facility Type, EMR, and Bed Count filled out. At least 1 References: dated no more than 12 months old. All new RN starts will be required to pass a basic test in their specialty and an EKG test. The EKG test includes mapping and interpreting. Nurses must be able to identify lethal rhythms. Passing score is 80% on each exam. Please note: 100% of lethal rhythms must be identified correctly to pass, regardless of percent scored on the EKG exam. If unable to do so there will be extended remedial training beyond Day Two of orientation. Rhythms should be reviewed in the week before start. Unit Manager Interviews.
