Experience Required: Minimum 3 years experience in high volume Level I or II ER.Unit Description: The Renown Regional ED is the only designated Level II Trauma Center, the only Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Accredited Center serving the Northern Nevada region. Renown Regional Medical Center is a tertiary receiving center caring for patients across a 100,000 sq. mile area of Northern NV and Eastern CA. This is an 88 bed ED that provides high quality care for complex and high acuity patients by a diverse team of nursing, EMT-certified technicians, and board-certified emergency room physicians. The Renown Children’s Hospital has a separate emergency department located adjacent to the main ED. We have dedicated resources focused on caring for trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients with standard workflow.Additional Comments:Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level, including to Renown South Meadows.May be required to work major holidays and is required to pick up one additional 12-hour shift during each schedule period (4-weeks). Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs.
