Must have a current New York State license. Must have knowledge of ER. Requires 5 years of current ED experience. Must be crisis evaluators for MH patients within the ED. Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications. Position involves working every other weekend/holiday. MUST have EPIC experience. An on-site ECG exam is required, which is closed book and timed. Study material will be provided. Note that the facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per contract. This unit will not accept travelers from certain counties within NY.Requirements: At least two years of recent experience in the field, current BLS certification, and a current nursing license for the state of assignment.Comments: Every other weekend/holiday. The facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per contract. Flu vaccination required, with documentation for medical or religious exemption needed 10 days before start.Unit details: Facility has COUNTY RESTRICTIONS. The caregiver cannot reside in specified counties. Candidates who have been staff at this facility in the past year or have worked full-time as staff within the AMC network (AMC, GFH, Saratoga, and CMH) within the past six months will not be considered. CHARTING: EPIC. An ECG exam is required upon arrival at the facility. Study materials are provided before the start. If the caregiver does not achieve 85% or higher or misses critical rhythms, the contract may be terminated. This is a timed, closed book exam, and review before starting is strongly encouraged.
