This role supports patient safety, throughput, and continuity of care during periods of high hospital census.**Scheduling Structure**Night Shift: Agency RNs would be scheduled Sunday night through Thursday night.Day Shift: Agency RNs would be scheduled Monday through Friday.12 hour shifts – Scheduling pattern may include weekdays and/or weeknights based on coverage needs.**Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Boarder R Expected Ratio:** Up to 4 patients (4:1) Patients may include telemetry monitoring, IV medications, post-procedural care, or general inpatient medical-surgical needs.**Floating Requirements** This role is specifically for caring for admitted boarder patients located within the Emergency Department. RNs are not expected to take regular ED patient assignments. Assignment will remain within the ED boarder care model. RNs may care for patients of varying acuity consistent with their skill set. If departmental or organizational needs change, RNs may be required to temporarily provide care in another unit within their clinical competency and skill set. **Experience Requirements:** * Recent inpatient medical-surgical experience required* Active RN license * BLS (Basic Life Support) * NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)**Work Environment** * Fast-paced Emergency Department setting * Care provided to admitted patients awaiting inpatient beds * Collaboration with ED physicians, hospitalists, ICU teams, and inpatient services * Support staff available per ED resources**Key Expectations Selected candidates must demonstrate:** * Strong inpatient clinical skills * Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment * Flexibility and teamwork * Clear communication with interdisciplinary teams * Commitment to patient safety and quality care RatePlan:Clinical Rates
