Information: ***All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy*** Unit Specifics – Information below is requested for better sourcing: Documentation system: Meditech Floating policy: As needed Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) Must have PALS or ENPC ACLS BLS TNCC NIHSS REQUIRED At least 2+ years of ER Experience Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) CEN Strong teamwork and communication skills Meditech experience preferred Specialty/Unit Certification Required: (RN): ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED Procedures performed on unit: Conscious Sedation Participate Intubations Behavioral Health Watch Sepsis Stroke (Tpa administration) Chest pain (Heart Alerts) Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color o RN: Navy (undershirts and jackets white, navy, black only) Nail Policy No acrylic, no longer inch, clean, no chipped nail polish Hair Off shoulders, natural color Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not fessible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually Piercings Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited.
