The Observation unit is a very fast paced environment that turns over 20 to 27 patients per day, with an average length of stay of 27 hours. The unit has 24/7 provider coverage. Care for a diverse adult population of both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients. These patients will range from short stay to full admissions.
