Will treat in the acute hemodialysis suite and in the ICU 1:1; Peritoneal dialysis patientsExperience or ‘Must have’ skills: General ACUTE CARE DIALYSIS nursing competencies; AVF/AVG cannulation, CVC access, recognition and management of hemodialysis complications and emergencies; peritoneal dialysis site care and catheter care; peritoneal dialysis initiation and terminationAre RNs required to titrate drips?HeparinCommon titratable &/or set rate dripsSet rate only: amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinoneAre there tele/monitor techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?Patients are on a tele monitor in the acute suite with Monitor tech reading strips. In the ICU they are on bedside and central monitoringCharge Nurse/House Supervisor?
