DESCRIPTION

The Cath Lab RN assists physicians in the analysis and treatment of cardiac problems. Cath lab nurses are responsible for preparing the patient for their procedures, and provide emotional and physical support to the patient.ResponsibilitiesAs a Catheterization Lab Nurse your duties include:

Checking the patient’s vital signs before, during and after procedures.
Giving and recording prescribed medication.
Providing treatment as needed.
Helping the doctors perform different procedures such as stent placements and angioplasties.
RequirementsOne year of experience as a Cath Lab Nurse within the past two years.

Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
