Unit Information: (Cath Lab) Location: HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest Address: 710 Cypress Creek Parkway Houston, Texas 77090 Floor: 4th floor Cath Lab Building: South Tower, 4th floor General Information for Cath Lab Tell us about the unit(s): Our facility has a 3 room Cath Lab suite with state of the art equipment. We perform a variety of Cardiovascular, IR, and Vascular procedures during the hours of 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: Strong clinical skills to deal with a variety procedures and patients Preferred or nice to have: Experience in Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, Radiology Technologist, RN- ICU, ER, and in caring for critically ill patients. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Cardiac, IR, Vascular cases EP cases Best personality Fit: Must work well with a variety of personalities, ability to work as a team, communicate effectively, stay calm under pressure, and utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS and BLS required. In the state of Texas Cardiac Cath Lab techs working with radiological equipment must have MRT license along with the certifications required for their specialty. RN – Critical Care and Trauma certifications are preferred Floating Area(s): None Dress Code: We provide scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
