This position cares for Structural heart, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic / planned intervention Neuro, Vascular and EP pacemaker / device patients. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of procedural process, post-procedure care and patient education.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(35%)*Performs nursing care of the cardiac catheterization, Structural heart, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic / planned intervention Neuro, Vascular and EP pacemaker / device patients.(35%)*Calculates cardiac output, performs hemodynamic monitoring, procedural set up and operates life saving equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Impella, etc. Transfers patients, stocks supplies and performs basic office procedures.
