Description: Specialty: Cath Lab EPFacility: Henrico Doctors Hospital-Forest VAState License: VACerts/Licenses: Years of Experience: 2Shift: 07:00-17:30Guaranteed Hours: Description: Description:Unit Information: Electrophysiology Lab Location: Henrico Doctor s Hospital – Forest Address: 1602 Skipwith Dr Richmond VA Floor: Cath/EP lab General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – Cardiac Cath lab with 2 Cath labs, 2 EP labs, 1 hybrid lab, 10 bay intake and recovery area, and a new EP lab currently under construction Number of Staff 6 (5 FT, 1 PT, 1 open position) Type of staff: looking for RN or RCES with EP lab experience for 10 hour shifts with occasional late nights. Preference would be proficiency in all rolls in EP: scrub, circulating and monitoring. Type of equipment – GE labs (New lab will have Philips equip) EMR -Meditech (Will be upgrading to Meditech Expanse by Q2 2025) Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. EP lab experience BLS & ACLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Circulate, Scrub, and/or Monitor Ablation procedures (Afib, Aflutter, VT, SVT, PVC) LAAO procedure (Watchman, Amulet) Device implants (PPM, ICD, Bi-V PPM/ICD) Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Loop (Implant/Explant) Leadless PPM Lead Extraction List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Ablations (all) LAAO Device Implants Best personality Fit: Able to work both independently and with team, strong work ethic, willingness to adjust setup and working habits to fit lab and physician needs REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS & BLS Floating Area(s): Cath lab or Pre/Post based on experience Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire Seal Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
