Unit Information: 701 Surgery Location: Medical City McKinney Address: 4500 Medical Center Dr. McKinney, TX 75069 Floor: 1st floor Building: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 7 OR suites Number of Staff 45 Type of staff: RNs, CSTs, Ancillary support staff o Day Shift 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, 6-7 CSTs, Orderly, Anesthesia Techs o Night Shift 1 RN, 1 CST Patient Ratios(ESTIMATED) 1:1 Type of equipment – Various EMR – Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: General/Trauma OR skills Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Experience in the Operating room. Labor & Delivery only is not applicable Must have Neuro and Ortho/Spine experience At least 1 year experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Trauma center experience Ortho experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Ortho, neuro, robotics General, trauma, urology Best personality Fit: Team player, positive attitude REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS Floating Area(s): Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire – Change into hospital provided scrubs each day Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
