Description: Specialty: CVICUFacility: Fairfax Medical Campus (LOC00057)State License: VACerts/Licenses: Years of Experience: Shift: 12hrs 7A-7P and 7P-7AGuaranteed Hours: 36Description: VA RN License/Compact License; Certs- BLS, ACLS***MUST HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCY: VV/VA ECMO, IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps), TTM/Arctic Sun, Impella, CRRT, PA Catheter Guided Therapy***2+ years recent dedicated Cardiac ICU/CCU/CVICU experience is required; must have worked in a dedicated CVICU/CICU – must also have strong experience on all advanced therapy modalities.Must be able to read and interpret EKG rhythm strips; Manage and titrate Cardiac/Vasoactive Drips; Common Types of Patients/Diagnosis: Post Op CABG, Heart and Lung Transplant, Cardiogenic Shock, Advanced HF Management, Cardiac Arrhythmia, Lysis, Post IR/PCI Procedures, & TEVAR.Weekend requirement- Every Other Weekend;Holidays- 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year s).
