ICU Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Tripod Partners are seeking skilled ICU Nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit in Bath. This is a full-time role, requiring 7-day availability for a minimum 3-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialist nursing care to critically ill patients requiring ventilator support, organ monitoring, and complex medical interventions.
• Conduct detailed patient assessments, interpreting vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition.
• Manage arterial lines, central venous catheters, and other advanced monitoring equipment.
• Administer critical medications, fluids, and pain management treatments in line with ICU protocols.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, physiotherapists, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide end-of-life care and emotional support to patients and their families in challenging circumstances.

Position Details:

• Location: Bath
• Work Pattern: Full-time, 7 days a week (Days, Nights, and Weekends)
• Contract Length: 3 months minimum
• Rates:
  • Weekday: £26.00 per hour
  • Nights & Saturdays: £32.00 per hour
  • Sundays & Bank Holidays: £40.00 per hour
• Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration.
• Strong background in ICU or critical care nursing, handling ventilated patients and high-acuity cases.
• Proficiency in emergency response, advanced life support, and intensive monitoring systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
