Provide aerosolized medication, volume expansion, airway clearance techniques, tracheostomy cares and sputum inductions to patients. Work with non-invasive ventilation, high flow and mechanical ventilation at IMC and ICU level Collaborate with physicians, care team leaders, staff nurses, other caregiving disciplines, and patients/families to develop, implement, and evaluate plan of care for each patient. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off). Floating : Travelers are the first to float. The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit to complete contract.
