Call back minimum is 2 hoursWeekend/Holiday: every weekend contract, holiday rotationRequired Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS NBRC RRT. Active WI license required, Advanced NRP required Required Education: Associates DegreeMinimum Experience: 2 + year experience, previous travel experience preferred, NICU experience requiredUnit Specific Skillset: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED and general care areas. Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and CodeBlue.Basic Respiratory Care, Critical Care, Ventilator Management, Patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols, care for all age groups.Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates. Dress Code: closed toed shoes; scrubs (any color); clean; no smoking or scent allowed; piercings per dress code policyContract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hoursTravelers can be put on call for low census hours. The on-call hours that travelers are placed on will count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours. If the traveler is called back to the facility, they will be able to receive call back pay.During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times. This is an Aspirus policy, and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action.
