RRT or is CRT acceptable? BLS, ACLS, PALS, either RRT or CRT.Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?) mostly adults. a few peds through the ED.What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.) InpatientExperience or ‘Must have’ skills: Must have L&D experience. Ventilator skills, MUST have experience with strong level 2 nursery – need to be competent to take of bubble cpap, 32 weeks and up. MUST HAVE NICU experience. Job Duties (ie: Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.) draw ABG s, bipap and ventilator setup, neb treatments, conscience sedation and cardioversion standby. RT don t perform EKG s.Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist? assist intubation.Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist?Lead therapist on staff every shift.Shifts & Scheduling (*Would they ever be the only RT in-house?) 4+ RT s on during noc shift.
